Some words about what judo means. Judo has his roots in jojitzu, but the parts dangerous for the opponent are excluded. The word from japan is translated in English as tendernesses. Basically I like it because it is a fighting sport that do not hurts the opponent. Although this is sometimes painful especially with novice that will not apply the technique correctly. Or just with me that still must learn how to fall properly. Here is a photo from my last training session in summer 2008.
