aristidetraian: Soap angels

I well first write about the motivation of the sculpture and than present them in picture.

It is something about art that move you in the inner side. Something that some times connects with you in a moment and remains not just like a memory of an image but like an emotion.
The power of art is not in its beauty but in the power to change us. And that is all the meaning of the "Soap angels". I just sculpted soap so one can have before himself the visual tool that can use to shape one's personality. The sculpture material chosen belongs to the them purity and cleaning that I can not think of a better one for the job.
I imagine that one will wake up in the morning go to the bathroom for his or her "toilette", and than when the person starts to wash by taking one of this virtue in his hands. The next moment realises how close is he or she in expressing this virtue fully. Than looks oneself in the mirror and says: "I can do it."
We have no reason to believe that by pursuing something ever lasting will be more unhappy. For this reason I invite every one to give it a try. Chose your virtue to exercise for the next few days and leave a comment on your blog or speak to your friends. We are all children of God but to get closer to God we have to behave like children of God.
